TP-S1-68 inhibits the activity of purified recombinant human TIE-2 kinase with an IC50 of 3.650 μM, and suppresses 101.62% of the kinase activity at a concentration of 5 μg/mL[1].
TP-S1-68 (Compound 5a) exhibits antimicrobial activity against the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus (MTCC 3160), Staphylococcus epidermidis (MTCC 435), Bacillus cereus (MTCC 9786), Escherichia coli (MTCC 118), Klebsiella pneumoniae (MTCC 3384), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (MTCC 4673), and the fungi Candida albicans (MTCC 1637) and Aspergillus niger (MTCC 282), with MIC values of 6.25, 6.25, 6.25, 12.5, 12.5, 12.5, 6.25, and 6.25 μg/mL[2].
