UM206_L is a linear Wnt fragment peptide derived from conserved Wnt3a/Wnt5a sequences, inactive in soluble form but capable of activating canonical Wnt/β-catenin signaling when conjugated to magnetic nanoparticles and exposed to a high-gradient, time-varying magnetic field or immobilized on glass surfaces[1].

In Vitro

UM206_L (free form) (10 nM-1 mM; 3 h, 24 h) fails to stably regulate the canonical Wnt/β-catenin TCF/LEF signaling pathway in HEK293 Luc-TCF/LEF cells[1].
UM206_L-conjugated MNPs (1-10 µg per mg MNP; 1-24 h), when combined with 1 Hz nanomagnetic actuation, potently activate the canonical Wnt/β-catenin TCF/LEF signaling pathway in HEK293 Luc-TCF/LEF cells in a peptide density-dependent manner in vitro[1].
UM206_L (immobilized; 1 µg per slide; 3-24 h) retains weak canonical Wnt/β-catenin TCF/LEF signaling activity in HEK293 Luc-TCF/LEF cells on glass substrates, induces a significant increase in signaling at 3 h, and this signaling level is maintained until 24 h[1].
