Biological Activity
Mouse IgG1 kappa
Human
CD103 forms a heterodimer with integrin β7, creating the αEβ7 integrin complex, which functions as a receptor for E-cadherin on epithelial cells. This interaction is critical for lymphocyte adhesion, retention, and positioning in epithelial tissues, including the gut mucosa and skin, and is essential for tissue-resident memory T cell (Trm) localization and immune surveillance.
