Antibacterial agent 345
Antibacterial agent 345 is a Ciprofloxacin (HY-B0356)-lipophilic derivative and is an antibacterial agent. Antibacterial agent 345 inhibits DNA gyrase and inhibits bacterial DNA replication and transcription. Antibacterial agent 345 inhibits bacterial biofilm formation. Antibacterial agent 345 can be used for the research of bacterial infections, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.

Biological Activity
Antibacterial agent 345 (Compound 9) inhibits Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213) with a MIC of 0.06 μg/mL and inhibits Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PAO1 ATCC 15692) with a MIC of 32 μg/mL[1].
Antibacterial agent 345 (0.5-32 μg/mL; 24 h) inhibits Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213) biofilm formation by 50% at 0.5 μg/mL and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PAO1 ATCC 15692) biofilm formation by 50% at 32 μg/mL[1].
Antibacterial agent 345 (0.06-0.24 μg/mL; 2-24 h) exhibits concentration- and time-dependent bactericidal activity against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213), achieving a 3 log reduction in CFU at 4×MIC (0.24 μg/mL) after 24 h of incubation[1].
Antibacterial agent 345 (0.125-0.5 μg/mL; 90 min) inhibits DNA gyrase activity in Escherichia coli DH5α pUC19 in a concentration-dependent manner[1].
Antibacterial agent 345 (0-100 μg/mL; 24 h) exhibits no cytotoxicity against HepG2 and J774A cells, with a selectivity index >1666.67 for both cell lines[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
