Artoheteronin is a prenylated coumarin found in the fruits of Artocarpus heterophyllus. Artoheteronin can inhibit HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity with an EC₅₀ of 0.18 μM. Artoheteronin inhibits HIV-1 reverse transcriptase activity in C8166 cells with an EC₅₀ of 0.18 μM and shows no cytotoxicity to these cells (CC₅₀ >200 μM)^[1].
