Indigoticoside A
Indigoticoside A is a phenylpropanoid lignan natural product that can be found in the traditional Chinese medicine Banlangen (Isatis indigotica Fort.), with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Indigoticoside A scavenges DPPH free radicals, superoxide anions and hydroxyl radicals in a dose-dependent manner, exhibiting significant in vitro antioxidant effects. The blood-absorbed components of Banlangen containing Indigoticoside A inhibit LPS (HY-D1056)-induced inflammatory responses in macrophages and reduce the production of inflammatory mediators such as NO, PGE2 and TNF-α.

Activité biologique
Indigoticoside A (7.89-91.17 μg/mL; 2 h), a component in the extract of *Isatis indigotica* Fort., has an in vitro bioaccessibility of 8.65% after simulated gastrointestinal digestion. This component shows stable recovery in the gastric environment, while its total recovery increases slightly in the intestinal environment, suggesting that it can be biotransformed from clemastanin B[2].
The content of Indigoticoside A in Isatis indigotica extract samples subjected to simulated gastrointestinal digestion is highly correlated with DPPH free radical scavenging activity (r = 0.937, p < 0.05)[2].
Indigoticoside A (0-200 μg/mL; 24 h) shows no obvious cytotoxicity in RAW264.7 cells, and slightly promotes cell proliferation at concentrations up to 200 μg/mL[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
