LS24-16
LS24-16 is a carbonic anhydrase (CA) IX enzyme inhibitor (Ki ≤ 1.6 nM versus human CA IX; Kd = 0.40 nM). LS24-16 inhibits carbon dioxide hydration by binding to the catalytic zinc site and displacing the zinc-bound water with its deprotonated sulfamate amino group. LS24-16 competes with fluorescent CA IX probes for binding to CA IX on hypoxic cells and remains stable under the tested stress conditions. LS24-16 can be used for solid tumor research.
