LF39 is a STAT3/TrxR1 inhibitor (TrxR IC50 = 0.515 μM). LF39 induces Apoptosis and ROS accumulation. LF39 exhibits selective anticancer activity against colorectal cancer. LF39 can be used for research on colorectal cancer.

In Vitro
LF39 preferentially inhibited CRC cells SW480 and LoVo (IC50 = 1.332 and 0.668 μM), while showing weaker effects on normal NCM460 cells (IC50 = 1.968 μM)[1].
LF39 (0.625-5 μM) inhibits p-STAT3 (Tyr705) in HCT116 cells in a dose-dependent manner without affecting total STAT3[1].
