cPP12-2-Lys
cPP12-2-Lys is a cyclic cell-penetrating peptide that serves as a negative control, i.e., it lacks any NatD bisubstrate moiety. cPP12-2-Lys is not a NatD inhibitor (IC50 = 9500 nM), but it possesses excellent cell-penetrating ability and can mediate the entry of conjugated bisubstrate inhibitors into non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cells. cPP12-2-Lys can be used in NSCLC research.

Biological Activity
cPP12-2-Lys (0.15 nM-30 μM; 30 min) alone shows very weak inhibitory activity against purified NatD enzyme with an IC50 of 9500 nM[1].
cPP12-2-Lys (5 μM; 2 h) is taken up by A549 non-small cell lung cancer cells, but at lower levels than its bisubstrate inhibitor-conjugated counterpart[1].
cPP12-2-Lys (up to 10 μM; 48 h) does not reduce viability of A549 and H1299 non-small cell lung cancer cells[1].
