Werner syndrome protein (WRN)[1]
H3B-968 covalently binds to the C727 site on the WRN protein, causing the loss of WRN helicase activity, thereby affecting processes such as DNA replication, repair and recombination. Werner syndrome protein (WRN) acts as the helicase, ATPase, and exonuclease. WRN exhibits synthetic lethal activity in cancer research[1].
