In Vitro

ISS610 potently and selectively disrupts the binding of STAT3:STAT3 dimers to DNA in cell-free EMSA assays, with an IC₅₀ of 42 μM, and exhibits low activity against STAT1:STAT1 and STAT5:STAT5 dimers^[2].
ISS610 inhibits constitutive STAT3 activity and induces cell growth inhibition and apoptosis in Src-transformed mouse fibroblasts, breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer cell lines with persistently activated STAT3, whereas its non-phosphorylated counterpart exerts no such effects^[2].
