STK189682 is an ATP-uncompetitive inhibitor of recombinant MDA5, which is evidenced by the observation that its IC₅₀ value decreases as ATP concentration increases^[1].
STK189682 does not compete with RNA for binding to recombinant MDA5, as the IC₅₀ value remains unchanged with increasing RNA concentrations^[1].
