PAICS-IN-1 is a PAICS inhibitor. PAICS-IN-1 inhibits the bifunctional enzyme catalyzing the 6th and 7th steps of the de novo purine pathway. PAICS-IN-1 can be used for the research of cancer[1].

In Vitro

PAICS-IN-1 (compound 69) potently inhibits PAICS in a cell-free biochemical assay with an IC60 classified as class A[1].
PAICS-IN-1 potently inhibits proliferation of unspecified cancer cells in a 2D cell proliferation assay with an EC50 classified as class A[1].
