Pralurbactam
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Pralurbactam (FL058) is a β-lactamase (Beta-lactamase) inhibitor. Pralurbactam enhances the antibacterial activity of Imipenem against Mycobacterium abscessus. Pralurbactam reduces the pulmonary bacterial load in neutropenic mice infected with Mycobacterium abscessus. Pralurbactam can be used in research related to infections caused by Mycobacterium abscessus complex, Escherichia coli, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Biological Activity
Pralurbactam (FL058) (2-4 mg/L; 3-7 days) significantly reduces the MIC of Imipenem (HY-B1369A) against Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. abscessus ATCC 19977 and Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. massiliense CIP 108297[1].
Pralurbactam (4 mg/L; 3-7 days) significantly reduces the MIC50 of Imipenem and increases the proportion of susceptible isolates among 193 clinical MABC isolates (including Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. abscessus and subsp. massiliense)[1].
Pralurbactam (4 mg/L; 72 h) significantly enhances the antibacterial activity of imipenem at 8 mg/L and 32 mg/L against Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. abscessus ATCC 19977 within 72 h[1].
Pralurbactam (4 mg/L; 4-48 h) significantly enhances the intracellular anti-MABC activity of Imipenem against Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. massiliense CIP 108297, clinical isolate A69 and clinical isolate G150 in THP-1 cell-derived macrophages[1].
Combination of Pralurbactam (4 μg/mL) with Meropenem (HY-13678) potently reduces the MIC of NDM-producing Escherichia coli and exhibits partial inhibitory activity against NDM-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae; in contrast, Pralurbactam alone inhibits *Escherichia coli*[2].

Animal Model:BALB/c (male, 6 weeks old, specific pathogen-free, neutropenic via intraperitoneal cyclophosphamide injection, intranasally infected with Mycobacterium abscessus subsp. massiliense CIP 108297)[1]
-
Dosage:100 mg/kg (in combination with 200 mg/kg Imipenem)
-
Administration:s.c.; twice daily; 14 days
-
Result:Achieved a net reduction of 1.99 log10 CFU in lung bacterial load, which was a 1.01 log10 CFU greater reduction than that achieved with imipenem alone.
