Ruzotolimod (RO7020531) is an orally active TLR7 agonist. Ruzotolimod inhibits WHV viral replication and, in combination with RO-7049389 (HY-145579), inhibits AAV-HBV viral load. Ruzotolimod can be used to study infection with COVID-19 or SARS-CoV-2.

Biological Activity
TLR7[1]
Ruzotolimod (30-120 mg/kg; p.o.; every other day; 24-week monotherapy or 14-week combination treatment with Entecavir (HY-13623)) can inhibit viral replication, cause the disappearance of viral antigens, and induce seroconversion in some woodchucks, and also induce a sustained antiviral response in some animals in the woodchuck model infected with woodchuck hepatitis virus (WHV)[4].
