S2/IAPinh
S2/IAPinh is a conjugate, which consist of an inhibitor for the apoptosis protein inhibitor (IAPinh) and a ligand for sigma 2 SW43. S2/IAPinh exhibits an anti-proliferative and apoptotic-inducing effect through degradation of the cellular inhibitor for apoptosis protein (clAP-1).

Biological Activity
S2/IAPinh (0-100 μM) exhibits cytotoxicity in cancer cells Human pancreatic cancer cell lines AsPC-1, HPAC and MiaPaCa-2, mouse pancreatic cancer cell lines KP2 and human ovarian cancer cell lines OVCAR3/8 with IC50s from 4.6 to 12.8 μM, and induces apoptosis in HPAC and OVCAR8 through activation of caspase 3 and caspase 8[1].
