In Vitro

TAK-137 (30 μM; 60 min) potentiates AMPA-induced Ca2+ influx in rat primary hippocampal neurons with an EC50 of 0.42 μM and exhibits a 7.6% agonistic effect at 30 μM in the absence of AMPA[1].
TAK-137 (30 μM) potentiates AMPA-induced currents in rat primary hippocampal neurons with an EC50 of 1.4 μM and exhibits a 6.4% agonistic effect at 30 μM in the absence of AMPA[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
