25-Methoxyalisol F
25-Methoxyalisol F is a regulator of NOX4 and phosphorylated Nrf2 with anti-pulmonary fibrosis activity. 25-Methoxyalisol F modulates the NOX4-Nrf2 signaling pathway, regulates the expression of NOX4 and p-Nrf2, and ameliorates TGF-β1-induced cellular damage. 25-Methoxyalisol F can be used in studies related to pulmonary fibrosis.

Biological Activity
25-Methoxyalisol F (10 μM) significantly ameliorates TGF-β1-induced cell damage in BEAS-2B cells, increasing cell viability to 1.207[1].
25-Methoxyalisol F (1 μM) exhibits less than 50% inhibition of human and mouse 11β-HSD1 when tested in HEK-293 cell microsomes overexpressing the enzyme[2].
25-Methoxyalisol F is a novel protostane-type triterpenoid isolated from the rhizomes of Alisma orientale[3].
