7α-Morroniside (Compound 22) (7 μM; 1 h pre-incubation + 6 h co-incubation with IL-6) potently inhibits IL-6-induced STAT3 promoter activity in HepG2 cells, with an IC₅₀ of 7 μM, and shows no cytotoxicity at effective concentrations^[1].
