Elastase Inhibitor

Neutrophil elastase inhibitor 1 is a competitive, pseudo-reversible inhibitor of human neutrophil elastase (HNE) with an IC₅₀ of 7 nM. Neutrophil elastase inhibitor 1 also exhibits inhibitory activity against thrombin, chymotrypsin and urokinase, with IC₅₀ values of 1.9 μM, 66 nM and 6.6 μM, respectively.
