Fluorescent Dye
Fluorescence is a phenomenon of photoluminescence in luminescence. When an atom is irradiated by light, some electrons around the nucleus jump from their original orbitals to higher energy orbitals under the influence of light energy, i.e., from the ground state to the first or second excited single-line state, etc. Due to the instability of the first or second excited singlet state, the electron returns from the excited singlet state to the ground state accompanied by released energy, resulting in fluorescence.
Fluorescent dyes can be covalently bound or physically adsorbed in the structure of the substance. The fluorescence properties allow for the characterization, localization and quantitative analysis of the labeled object. Fluorescent dyes have shown great potential for the detection of proteins, nucleic acids, cells, and immunoassays, attributed to the advantages in non-radioactive contamination, simple experimental operation and easy observation.
Fluorescent dyes have penetrated many fields such as pharmacology, physiology, environmental science, and information science, as well as functional studies of proteins and drug screening.

CGTDP
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-D3102CAS No.: 1015251-87-2CGTDP is a fluorescent probe used for selective labeling of active-site arginine residues, detection of local polarity, and monitoring of conformational changes in enzyme active sites. CGTDP contains a neutral red moiety serving as a polarity-sensitive fluorophore, and a phenylglyoxal unit acting as an arginine-specific labeling group; it undergoes a selective reaction via its α-dicarbonyl moiety with the guanidyl group of arginine residues in enzyme active sites to form a covalent linkage, thereby enabling the reporting of the local microenvironment at the labeled site. The excitation/emission wavelengths are Ex/Em = 398/607 nm and Ex/Em = 507/607 nm; these wavelengths blue-shift in organic solvents, such as Ex/Em = 375/569 nm and Ex/Em = 469/569 nm in THF, and Ex/Em = 375/587 nm and Ex/Em = 470/587 nm in acetonitrile. When labeled onto creatine kinase, its excitation/emission wavelengths are Ex/Em = 493/590 nm. -

C-TPA
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-D3084C-TPA is a fluorescent probe used for hypochlorite detection and bioimaging of lipid droplet polarity in cancer cells. For hypochlorite detection, when its derivative C-TPA-S is exposed to hypochlorite, an oxidative desulfurization reaction converts the thiocarbonyl group of C-TPA-S to the carbonyl group of C-TPA, thus restoring bright fluorescence from the almost non-fluorescent C-TPA-S. For bioimaging of lipid droplet polarity, the intramolecular charge transfer process between its Triphenylamine (HY-W011998) donor group and Coumarin (HY-N0709) acceptor group endows C-TPA with solvatochromism-it exhibits stronger fluorescence in less polar environments (such as lipid droplets in cancer cells) and weaker fluorescence in more polar environments (such as lipid droplets in normal cells), enabling the differentiation of cancer cells and cancer tissues from normal cells and normal tissues. The excitation wavelength of C-TPA is 405 nm, and the emission wavelengths used for cell and tissue imaging cover 425-475 nm and 500-550 nm; in solvents, its emission peak shifts from 494 nm in non-polar toluene to 528 nm in polar water. -

Cy3 labled Eteplirsen sodium
0 ImagesCat. No.: HY-108753ECy3 labled Eteplirsen sodium is a Cy3 labled Eteplirsen (AVI 4658) sodium (HY-108753A). Eteplirsen (AVI 4658) sodium is a phosphorylated diamine morpholino oligonucleotide that targets exon 51 of the human Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) gene. Eteplirsen sodium induces exon 51 skipping, causing it to be skipped during splicing, thereby restoring the translation reading frame and producing a shortened functional dystrophin. Eteplirsen sodium can be used in research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy. -
