SSZ targets acetylcholinesterase, butyrylcholinesterase, β-site amyloid precursor protein cleavage enzyme 1 (BACE1), and γ-secretase. SSZ ameliorates Alzheimer’s diseases and exhibits neuroprotective effect in mice.
