Anticancer agent 355
Anticancer agent 355 is a highly selective and potent anticancer agent, with IC50 values of 64.66 μM and 13.35 μM against HeLa and MDA-MB-231 cancer cells, respectively. Anticancer agent 355 induces plasmid DNA degradation via intercalation or minor groove binding, and disrupts the tertiary structure of BSA by interfering with the interactions of amino acid side chains. Anticancer agent 355 can be used in the research of cervical cancer and breast cancer.

Anticancer agent 355 (Compound S4) (1-3 mg/mL; 1 h) completely degrades plasmid DNA of approximately 1 kb, exhibiting strong chemical nuclease activity[1].
Anticancer agent 355 (9-300 μM; 24 h) exhibits cytotoxicity against HeLa and MDA-MB-231 cancer cells, with IC50 values of 64.66 μM and 13.35 μM, respectively. Meanwhile, compared to normal HEK-293 cells (IC50 = 82.75 μM), this agent shows high selectivity for MDA-MB-231 cells, with a selectivity coefficient of 6.19[1].
Anticancer agent 355 (30 µM) exhibits potent DNA-binding activity via an intercalation mode in in vitro biochemical reactions[1].
Anticancer agent 355 binds to BSA in in vitro biochemical reactions, inducing fluorescence quenching and disruption of the protein's tertiary structure[1].
