AZD0516 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting STEAP2. AZD0516 mediates bystander cell killing of STEAP2-negative cells in co-culture with STEAP2-positive cells via intracellular release of its Exatecan (HY-13631) payload^[1].
The anti-STEAP2 monoclonal antibody component of AZD0516 exhibits specific binding, rapid internalization, and efficient lysosomal trafficking in prostate cancer cells^[1].
The anti-STEAP2 monoclonal antibody component of AZD0516 binds specifically to human, cynomolgus monkey, mouse, and rat STEAP2, with no cross-reactivity to other STEAP family members^[1].
