Immunohistochemical analysis revealed significant decrease in hepatic inflammation in Tangeretin (TAN, 10-40 mg/kg; i.p.; single dose)-treated mice, and the infiltration of Ly6G+ neutrophils and F4/80+ macrophages was significantly decreased in TAN-treated mice livers compared to untreated mice.
