In Vitro

AS1-6 (10-200 μg/mL; 24 h) shows low toxicity to brine shrimp, with an LD₅₀ > 200 μg/mL^[1].
AS1-6 (30 μg/mL; 24-48 h) shows no activity against 3T3 fibroblasts, indicating its low toxicity toward non-cancerous cells^[1].

In Vivo

AS1-6 (10 mg/kg; i.p.; single dose) exhibits significant anti-inflammatory activity in the carrageenan-induced paw edema model, analgesic activity in the formalin-induced paw licking model, and significant analgesic activity in the acetic acid-induced writhing model in adult albino mice, and it downregulates the expression of COX-2-related inflammatory mediators^[1].
