Biological Activity
Picarbutrazox causes swelling and hyperbranching of mycelia and inhibits zoospore formation, zoospore encystment and cystospore germination[1]. Picarbutrazox inhibits mycelial growth inhibition of Pythium at concentrations of 0.00001-0.1 mg.ai/L[2]. Testing Pythium are sensitive to Picarbutrazox with a mean EC50 value of 0.000434 mg.ai/L[2].
