(Z)-Styryl latrepirdine ((Z)-3 (2), 4 (2)) antagonizes the 5-HT₆ receptor in HEK-293 cells with IC₅₀ values of 0.087 µM and 0.158 µM, respectively^[1].
(Z)-Styryl latrepirdine (15-20 s before histamine (phase 1); 20-30 s after histamine (phase 2)) blocks histamine H₁ receptor-mediated calcium mobilization in SK-N-SH cells, with IC₅₀ values of 0.07 µM and 0.04 µM in phase 1 and IC₅₀ values of 0.154 µM and 0.146 µM in phase 2^[1].
