NS1-IN-1 (REDD1 inducer-1) is a naphthalimide compound and an NS1 inhibitor. NS1-IN-1 antagonizes influenza A virus NS1-mediated inhibition of host gene expression and induces REDD1 expression. NS1-IN-1 suppresses the mTORC1 signaling pathway via a TSC1-TSC2 dependent mechanism. SDH-IN-30 also has remarkable protective and curative efficacies against R. solani and significantly inhibits S. sclerotiorum growth on oilseed rape leaves by damaging the fungal cell structure. SDH-IN-30 can be used for fungal infections like rice sheath blight (RSB) and sclerotinia stem rot (SSR) research.

Cyslabdan ((+)-Cyslabdan) is a novel compound with the potential to enhance the activity of imipenem against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Cyslabdan exerts its antibacterial effect by inhibiting the synthesis of pentapeptide cross-links.
