Democonazole is an imidazole antifungal agent that blocks ergosterol synthesis by inhibiting CYP450 14α-lanosterol demethylase (CYP51), thereby disrupting the integrity and fluidity of fungal cell membranes. Nikkomycin Lz is a nucleoside peptide antifungal compound isolated from genetically engineered Streptomyces tendae TU901. Nikkomycin Lz has antifungal activity against Candida albicans.

Chrolactomycin is found in the strain of Streptomyces sp. 569N-3. The IC₅₀ of Chrolactomycin for ACHN, A431, McF-7 and T24 cells are 1.2 μM, 1.6 μM, 0.69 μM and 0.45 μM, respectively. Chrolactomycin has only anti-Gram-positive bacteria activity with the MIC of 5.2-10.4 μg/mL.

Cefmatilen (S-1090) is an orally-active cephalosporin antibiotic that shows high activity against a variety of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Streptococcus pyogenes and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

CYP51-IN-32 is an antifungal agent with an IC₅₀ of 0.331 μM against CYP51 of Candida albicans. CYP51-IN-32 releases hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) and inhibits hyphal formation and biofilm development of Candida albicans. CYP51-IN-32 can be formulated into PEG-based nanovesicles. CYP51-IN-32 is applicable to the research of Candida albicans infection.

Phoslactomycin F has weak effect against Gram-positive bacteria, but has strong effect against fungi.

Isonicotinaldehyde 2-pyridin is an antileishmanial agent that is effective against the promastigotes of L. amazonensis and L. braziliensis. Isonicotinaldehyde 2-pyridin has no significant toxic effects on mouse macrophages. The biological activity of Isonicotinaldehyde 2-pyridin is closely related to increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS) and interfering with parasite mitochondrial function. Isonicotinaldehyde 2-pyridin showed its effects on L. amazonensis in preliminary studies on its pharmacological mechanism of action.
