CDL36
CDL36 is a BAX inhibitor with an EC50 of 23.6 µM. CDL36 inhibits pro-apoptotic peptide-induced mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization (MOMP). CDL36 exerts cytoprotective effects against Doxorubicin (HY-15142A)-induced cell death.

CDL36 (39-5000 nM; 60 min) binds directly to recombinant BAX in a dose-dependent manner, disrupts the interaction between BAX and BAK-BH3 peptide, and produces detectable effects across the concentration range of 39 nM to 5000 nM[1].
CDL36 binds to recombinant BAX protein as determined by microscale thermophoresis, with an EC50 of 23.6 µM[1].
CDL36 (1-100 µM) inhibits BIM peptide-induced mitochondrial outer membrane permeabilization (MOMP) in permeabilized lymphoma U937 cells[1].
CDL36 (12.5-25 µM; 72 h) specifically protects intact CRISPR control cells and BAX knockout (KO) A549 cells against 5 µM Doxorubicin (HY-15142A)-induced cell death over a 72-hour treatment period[1].
