IMP-1002 (0.54-400 nM; 96 h) potently inhibits the growth of P. falciparum 3D7 erythrocytic stage parasites with an EC50 of 34 ± 5.8 nM following 96 h of treatment[1].
IMP-1002 (140 nM) inhibits protein myristoylation in P. falciparum 3D7 WT parasites during the 36-45 h post-invasion window, but does not inhibit myristoylation in PfNMT[G386E] clones[1].
IMP-1002 (140 nM; 45 h) induces developmental arrest in P. falciparum 3D7 WT parasites during a 45 h post-invasion treatment period, but does not arrest development in PfNMT[G386E] clones[1].
