Diamfenetide
Based on 1 Customer Validation
Diamfenetide is used for the study of Fasciola hepatica infections in vitro. Diamfenetide leads to irreversible paralysis in vitro of immature and adult Fasciola hepatica.

Biological Activity
Diamfenetide (10-100 μM; 1-3 hours) treatment leads a time/dose-dependent, irreversible paralysis that involves an increase in muscular tension and decrease in contraction amplitude in vitro of immature and adult Fasciola hepatica[1].Diamfenetide (100 μM; 6-24 hours) increases products of glucose metabolism by adult Fasciola hepatica in vitro. And the metabolic effects of Diamfenetide on F. hepatica may be secondary to the initial effects on surface membranes[2].
