(Rac)-Acuminatin
(Rac)-Acuminatin is a c-Myc transcription inhibitor. (Rac)-Acuminatin reduces c-Myc mRNA and protein levels. (Rac)-Acuminatin induces cell cycle arrest. (Rac)-Acuminatin exhibits anticancer activity against colorectal cancer. (Rac)-Acuminatin possesses antiplatelet aggregation and antioxidant/hepatoprotective activities.

In Vitro
(Rac)-Acuminatin inhibits colorectal cancer cell viability, with IC50 values of 10.76 μM, 14.29 μM, 17.60 μM, and 5.521 μM in SW480, HCT116, SW620, and RKO cells, respectively[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin inhibits colony formation in SW480, HCT116, RKO, and SW620 colorectal cancer cells, with a weaker effect on NCM460 cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin exerts antiproliferative activity in HCT116 colorectal cancer cells, and this activity depends at least in part on c-MYC[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin downregulates the c-MYC target gene program in colorectal cancer cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin reduces the expression of stemness-related genes CD166, CD133, CD44, and LGR5 in colorectal cancer cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin (10-20 μM; 24 h) reduces c-myc mRNA levels in SW480 and HCT116 colorectal cancer cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin (10 μM) inhibits c-MYC promoter activity in SW480 colorectal cancer cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin induces G1 phase cell cycle arrest in colorectal cancer cells[1].
(Rac)-Acuminatin (6 h), despite inducing early changes in cell cycle-related proteins, does not immediately inhibit the transcription of CCND1, CCNE1, or PCNA in colorectal cancer cells[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
