Kojic acid (Standard) is the analytical standard of Kojic acid. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Kojic acid is a substance produced by Aspergillus oryzae, with various biological activities including antitumor, insecticidal, antibacterial, antioxidant, and radioprotective effects. Kojic acid exhibits tyrosinase inhibition activity by capturing copper ions that bind to the active site of tyrosinase, preventing its activation. Tyrosinase is a key enzyme in the biosynthesis of melanin, so kojic acid can block melanin production. Additionally, kojic acid shows potential inhibition of NF-κB activity in human keratinocytes, which may also be related to the anti-melanogenic effect induced by kojic acid. Kojic acid is effective when administered orally and can also be absorbed transdermally. Nano-carrier systems prepared with kojic acid demonstrate effective delivery of anticancer drugs. Kojic acid holds promise for research in cancer, infectious diseases, and skin whitening among other fields .

JWX-A0108 is a selective human α7 nAChR positive allosteric modulator with an EC50 of 4.35 μM. JWX-A0108 potentiates α7 nAChR currents only in the presence of acetylcholine, with no direct activating effect or alteration of desensitization. JWX-A0108 enhances hippocampal GABAergic synaptic transmission by increasing spontaneous inhibitory postsynaptic currents. JWX-A0108 reduces the brain expression levels of IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-6 by blocking the NF-κB signaling pathway, and reduces microglial activation by downregulating Iba1. JWX-A0108 effectively improves cognitive deficits, neuroinflammation, and hippocampal neuronal damage in mouse models of schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. JWX-A0108 can be used for research related to schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease .

APH003 is an orally active IRAK4 PROTAC degrader with a DC50 of 0.74 nM in human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (hPBMCs). APH003 recruits IRAK4 to CRBN to form a ternary complex, mediates the ubiquitination and degradation of IRAK4 via the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, and inhibits the kinase activity of IRAK4. APH003 inhibits LPS- or IL-1β/LPS-induced phosphorylation of ERK, JNK and NF-κB. APH003 inhibits the secretion of TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8 and IL-13 by stimulated hPBMCs. APH003 exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in rat TNBS-induced intestinal inflammation models and mouse IL-33-induced skin inflammation models. APH003 can be used in research related to inflammatory bowel disease and skin inflammation .

IT9302 is a synthetic IL-10 agonist with the activity of inducing tolerogenic dendritic cells. IT9302 is able to mimic multiple effects of IL-10, including downregulating the antigen presentation machinery and increasing the sensitivity of tumor cells to natural killer cell-mediated lysis. IT9302 can also hinder the response of human monocytes to differentiation factors and reduce the antigen presentation and co-stimulatory capacity of dendritic cells. Dendritic cells treated with IT9302 showed a weakened ability to stimulate T cell proliferation and interferon-γ production. IT9302 exerts its effects through mechanisms that are partially different from IL-10, involving STAT3 inactivation and regulation of the NF-κB intracellular pathway. IT9302-treated dendritic cells showed enhanced expression of membrane-bound TGF-β, associated with the effective induction of foxp3+ regulatory T cells .

Lunularin inhibits LPS-induced TLR4-mediated NF-κB pathway activation and nitric oxide production. Lunularin inhibits the proliferation and colony formation of renal cancer and colon cancer cells, and exhibits cancer cell-specific cytotoxicity. Lunularin binds to the steroid-binding site of human 11β-HSD1 and the steroid/NADPH-binding region of rat 11β-HSD1, but does not inhibit 11β-HSD2 or mouse 11β-HSD1. Resolvin D5 is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent produced in M2 macrophages. Resolvin D5 alleviates Paclitaxel (HY-B0015)-induced mechanical allodynia and inflammatory pain by activating the GPR32 receptor, with gender specificity (effective only in male mice) and independence from TRPV1 or TRPA1 channels. Resolvin D5 attenuates LPS-induced ERK phosphorylation and NF-κB nuclear translocation, downregulates proinflammatory mediators such as IL-6 and CCL5, inhibits Th17 cell differentiation and osteoclastogenesis, promotes regulatory T cell differentiation, and shows no cytotoxicity to human monocytes. The level of Resolvin D5 is elevated in arthritic SKG mice, but Resolvin D5 has no effect on dendritic cell differentiation or M1 macrophage polarization, nor does it prevent ZyA-induced arthritis progression. Resolvin D5 is suitable for research related to chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, inflammatory pain and rheumatoid arthritis .

Synonyms: (-)-Cubebin
Cubebin ((-)-Cubebin), a dibenzyl butyrolactone lignan, is an orally active AChE inhibitor. Cubebin binds to active sites of NF-κB, TNF-α, and TGF-β1 via hydrogen and hydrophobic interactions, obstructing critical residues to inhibit pro-inflammatory or renal fibrosis-related activity. Cubebin enhances p38 MAPK phosphorylation to increase tyrosinase gene expression, stimulating melanogenesis via elevated tyrosinase activity, expression, and mRNA levels. Cubebin reduces oxidative stress via enhanced endogenous antioxidant enzyme activity and inhibited lipid peroxidation, regulates lipid metabolism, improves glycemic control, and exerts renoprotective effects via reduced renal dysfunction markers and improved renal architecture. Cubebin shows antimicrobial activity. Cubebin exerts larvicidal activity against Angiostrongylus cantonensis larvae, with no cytotoxicity toward monkey or human cell lines or Caenorhabditis elegans. Cubebin can be used for the research of diabetic nephropathy, melanoma, colon adenocarcinoma, neuroangiostrongyliasis, Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and depression .

Strictinin is an orally active phenolic compound. Strictinin reduces xanthine oxidase activity, uric acid production, and the activation of ERK1/2, JNK, NF-κB, and NLRP3 inflammasome components in hepatocytes treated with Xanthine (HY-W017389). Strictinin decreases elevated serum uric acid levels and enhanced xanthine oxidase activity in mice treated with potassium oxonate. Strictinin acts as a ROR1 inhibitor and exhibits anticancer activity against highly aggressive non-androgen-dependent prostate cancer. Strictinin induces cancer cell apoptosis (apoptosis), arrests cell cycle, and inhibits cancer cell migration, invasion, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Strictinin modulates gut microbiota, inhibits bacterial growth and biofilm formation, accelerates small intestinal transit, and blocks viral entry and replication. Strictinin can be used in research related to hyperuricemia, androgen receptor-negative non-androgen-dependent prostate cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, bacterial infections, constipation, coronavirus infections, dental caries, and infections caused by influenza A, influenza B, and human parainfluenza virus type 1 .
