Biological Activity
Secologanic acid (2 h) inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production in LPS-activated rat peritoneal macrophages with an inhibition rate of 31.5%[1].
Secologanic acid (5-80 μM; 1-24 h) shows anti-inflammatory activity (reduction of TNF-α mRNA expression) in LPS-activated RAW264.7 mouse macrophages without cytotoxicity[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
