Sibenadet inhibits capsaicin-induced plasma protein extravasation in rat trachea. Sibenadet suppresses edema from sensory nerve fiber activation by activating β₂-adrenoceptor. Sibenadet is promising for research of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
