Biological Activity
Description
In Vitro
C18:1-Ceramide (0.5 μM; 2-12 h) enhances LPS (HY-D1056)-induced expression of IL-1β, IL-23a, IL-6 and TNF-α in mouse blood monocytes[3].
The level of C18:1-Ceramide is increased in Acer3-deficient mouse primary hepatocytes and human L02 hepatocytes treated with Palmitic acid (HY-N0830), which correlates with the reduction of Palmitic acid-induced apoptosis and oxidative stress levels[2].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.
