CGS 18320B
CGS 18320B is a human placental microsomal aromatase inhibitor with a Ki of 0.16 nM. CGS 18320B interacts reversibly with the enzyme's active site to block estrogen biosynthesis from androstenedione. CGS 18320B can be used for the research of aromatase inhibition and estrogen biosynthesis regulation.

Aromatase 0.16 nM (Ki) |
CGS 18320B (0.15 nM, 0.4 nM, 1.0 nM; 2 min preincubation, 5 min reaction) competitively inhibits human placental microsomal aromatase with an apparent Ki of 0.16 nM[1].
CGS 18320B (0.17 nM, 0.5 nM, 1.7 nM, 8.4 nM; 0, 10, 20, 30 min preincubation, 10 min substrate incubation) reversibly inhibits human placental microsomal aromatase, with no time-dependent increase in inhibitory effect observed over 30 minutes of preincubation[1].
