Protein Detection and Analysis

GSHtracer is a ratiometric probe for measuring of GSH levels. GSHtracer exhibits Ex/Em from 520/580 nm to 430/510 nm (upon GSH binding) .

Geldanamycin-FITC, a Geldanamycin fluorescent probe, can be used in a fluorescence polarization assay for HSP90 inhibitors. Geldanamycin-FITC also can be used for detection of cell surface HSP90 (Ex/Em = 488/515 nm).

DiAzKs (H-L-Photo-lysine) hydrochloride is a diazirine-containing lysine amino acid and is a photo-cross-linker. DiAzKs hydrochloride can site-selective incorporated into proteins and is used to crosslink protein-protein interactions in vitro and in living cells. DiAzKs hydrochloride acts as a UV light-activated photo-crosslinking probe.

F8 is a small molecule GPR84 fluorescent probe that can visualize and detect GPR84 protein levels at the cellular and tissue levels.

DFHBI-2T is a membrane-permeable, RNA aptamer-activated fluorescent probe (Ex/Em=500 nm/523 nm), with a K_d value of 1300 nM for the RNA aptamer Spinach2. DFHBI-2T binds to Spinach2, converting the fluorophore to a fluorescent state, stabilizing its planar structure to facilitate the radiative fluorescence decay pathway, and forming a complex with red-shifted excitation and emission peaks. K114, a fluorescent Congo Red analogue, binds tightly to amyloid fibrils with an EC₅₀ of 20-30 nM. K114 is an efficient detector of semen-derived enhancer of virus infection (SEVI).

BSPOTPE is the mixture of (E)-BSPOTPE (HY-W856375) and (Z)-BSPOTPE. BSPOTPE binds Human serum albumin (HSA) (HY-P1956), exhibits aggregation-induced emission (AIE) phenomenon. BSPOTPE shows selectivity for albumin (such as HSA and BSA), but has no obvious fluorescence response to other proteins and DNA. BSPOTPE can be used as fluorescent probe for HSA.

DC271 is a RAR agonist and synthetic retinoid that binds to the retinoid-binding site of cellular retinoic acid-binding protein II (CRBP-II). DC271 exhibits solvatochromic fluorescence properties: it produces intense blue-shifted emission in nonpolar environments and weak red-shifted emission in polar environments, and its severe fluorescence quenching in aqueous solutions can be reversed by embedding in the hydrophobic retinoid-binding protein pocket. DC271 enables direct detection of the binding between unlabeled compounds and related retinoid-binding proteins via fluorescence competition assays (Ex/Em = 355 nm/460 nm).

Trx-red (NBL-SS perchlorate) is a red-emitting fluorescent probe derivatized from the nile blue fluorophore. Trx-red is used for selectively imaging thioredoxin (Trx) in live cells and in vivo (λex=615 nm, λem=661 nm).

ZL-12A probe is a "stereoprobe "that can promote the degradation of TFIIH helicase ERCC3. ZL-12A degrades ERCC3 by covalently modifying C342.

Beryllon II is a widely used chromogenic reagent that is used to determine many elements, such as Mo, Mg and Co, and also used for the determination of proteins.

PE154 is a fluorescent probe that binds to Aβ plaques, as well as a potent fluorescent inhibitor of AChE and BChE, with an IC₅₀ of 280 pM against hAChE and 16 nM against hBChE. PE154 is applicable for histochemical detection of Aβ plaques in mouse and human brain tissues. PE154 can be used in research related to Alzheimer's disease.

10-Methyl-9-(phenoxycarbonyl)acridinium fluorosulfonate, a phenyl ester of acridinium esters, is a fluorescent dye that produces chemiluminescent under neutral conditions. 10-Methyl-9-(phenoxycarbonyl)acridinium fluorosulfonate can be used for the measurement of hydrogen peroxide.

12-(1-Pyrenyl)dodecanoic acid is a fluorescence probe.

(Rac)-tris-NTA is a His-tagged protein ligand, which can be used to bind His-tagged proteins.

AC-green (VDP-green) is a β-allyl carbamate fluorescent probe for specifically imaging vicinal dithiol proteins (VDPs) in living systems (λ_ex/λ_em=400/475 nm). AC-green can detect the reduced bovine serum albumin (rBSA) with high sensitivity. AC-green displays low toxicity and features high sensitivity, and is suitable for sensing VDPs in living cells and zebrafishes.

BD140 is a fluorescent probe with a binding affinity K_d of 4.1 μM for binding site 2 of human serum albumin (HSA). BD140 emits activated fluorescence upon binding to the specific HSA binding site 2. BD140 can be combined with dansylamide to form a fluorescent dye mixture, which is used for high-throughput mapping of interaction profiles of HSA drug binding sites (Ex/Em = 356/585 nm).
