IL-17 modulator 4 (Compound 23) is a modulator for IL-17A protein-protein interaction, that stabilizes the conformation of IL-17A by binding to the central pocket of the IL-17A dimer, making it unable to effectively bind to the IL-17RA receptor, thereby inhibiting the IL-17A-mediated signaling pathway[3].
IL-17 modulator 4 (Compound 23) inhibits glycosylated IL-17A and TNFα costimulated IL-8 secretion in HEKa cell with an EC50 of 14 nM[3].
