Kazusamycin B is an antibiotic that could be isolated from the fermentation broth of Streptomyces sp. No. 81-484. Kazusamycin B inhibits cell growth and arrests cell cycle at G1 phase. Kazusamycin B can be used in research of cancer.

Kazusamycin B (PD 124895; 5 ng/mL; 24 h; 1210 cells) has cell cytotoxicity in a time-dependent manner and arrests cell cycle at G1 phase[2].
Kazusamycin B (5-50 ng/mL; 0-6 h; 1210 cells) B inhibits RNA synthesis moderately but specifically at 2 hours[2].
