Kocurin
Kocurin (PM181104) is a thiazolyl cyclic-peptide antibiotic. Kocurin inhibits bacterial growth by impeding bacterial protein biosynthesis during the translation phase. Kocurin has strong inhibitory activity against Gram-positive bacteria, but no activity against fungi and Gram-negative bacteria.

Biological Activity
Kocurin (24 h) inhibits S. aureus with MICs in the range of 0.008 to 2.048 μg/mL and an MIC90 value of 0.064 μg/mL[1].
Kocurin (24 h) inhibits S. epidermidis with MICs in the range of 0.008 to 1.024 μg/mL and an MIC90 value of 0.128 μg/mL[1].
Kocurin (24 h) inhibits VRE and VSE strains with MICs in the range of 0.004 to 1.024 μg/mL and an MIC90 value of 0.016 μg/mL[1].
