R34803
R34803 is an orally effective Microtubule inhibitor and antiparasitic agent. R34803 impedes directional migration by interfering with the cytoplasmic microtubule complex, and causes metaphase arrest to inhibit the growth of cancer cell aggregates while preventing their invasion into other tissues. R34803 exhibits activity against a variety of parasites. R34803 can be used for research on fibrosarcoma and helminthiasis.

Description
In Vitro
R34803 (1 μg/mL; 2-7 days) prevents invasion of MO4 mouse fibrosarcoma cells into embryonic chick heart tissue and inhibits growth of the confronting tissues without causing central necrosis[1].
MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only. Further protocols information, click here.

Cell migration
Cell migration is a method that plays an important role in wound healing, cell differentiation, embryonic development, etc.
-
Cell invasion
Cell invasion is the ability of cells to migrate from one area to another via the extracellular matrix. Cell invasion is the response of normal and cancer cells to chemical and mechanical stimuli. Before migrating to a new region, the extracellular matrix is degraded by proteases within the cell. Cell invasion often occurs during wound repair, vascularization and inflammation, abnormal tissue invasion, and tumor cell metastasis.
