Sahandol is a diterpene, that can be isolated from Salvia sahendica. Sahandol shows antiplasmodial, antitrypanosomal, and cytotoxic activities^[1].

Sahandol shows activity against P. falciparum K1, T. brucei rhodesiense STIB 900, and L6-cells, with IC₅₀ values of 1.3 ± 0.3 μM, 2.9 ± 0.1 μM, and 0.2 ± 0.1 μM, respectively^[1].
