Tovecimig (CTX-009) is a bispecific antibody targeting DLL4 and VEGF-A. Tovecimig contains two single-chain variable fragments (scFv) that bind human DLL4, and these fragments are linked to the C-terminus of the heavy chain that binds human VEGF-A. Tovecimig blocks the DLL4/NOTCH1 and VEGF signaling pathways, inhibiting DLL4-mediated Notch signaling and VEGF-A-mediated angiogenic signaling in tumor angiogenesis. Tovecimig can be used in research on refractory metastatic colorectal cancer, advanced biliary tract cancer, solid tumors, gastric cancer, and colon cancer.
