Description

Triacetylresveratrol, an acetylated analog of Resveratrol. Triacetylresveratrol decreases the phosphorylation of STAT3 and NF-κB in a dose- and time- dependent manner in PANC-1 and BxPC-3 cells. Anticancer effects[1].

In Vitro

Triacetylresveratrol significantly down-regulates anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 family protein Mcl-1 and up-regulates pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 family proteins Bim and Puma. Triacetylresveratrol inhibits cell viability, and induces apoptosis of pancreatic cancer cells in a concentration and incubation time-dependent manner[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
