Benznidazole (Ro 07-1051) is an antiparasitic medication, with an IC₅₀ of 20.35 μM for Colombian T. cruzi strains, and has been used in the treatment of Chagas disease.

MI-1851 is a potent furin inhibitor. MI-1851 prevents the proteolytic processing of the S protein of SARS-CoV-2 by endogenous flavoprotease in HEK293 cells. MI-185 has antiviral activity.

Flonicamid (IKI220) is an antifeedant Insecticide active against Hemiptera, Thysanoptera, and piercing-sucking pests including aphids of all species, developmental stages and morphs. Flonicamid inhibits the inward rectifier potassium channel NlKir1, blocking stylet penetration, salivation, sap feeding, honeydew secretion, and fluid secretion by isolated Malpighian tubules. Flonicamid reduces renal excretory function in female Culex pipiens pallens. Flonicamid rapidly disrupts insect feeding behavior without neurotoxic poisoning symptoms, induces irreversible starvation, and increases the mortality of nymph progeny of adult aphids exposed to this agent.

1H-pyrazole (Pyrazole) is a five-membered heterocyclic compound, and its derivatives are orally effective antimalarial and antileishmanial agents with the potential to modulate targets such as alcohol dehydrogenase and NMDA receptors. 1H-pyrazole derivatives exhibit inhibitory effects on Plasmodium berghei in infected mice and on promastigotes of Leishmania aethiopica, respectively. 1H-pyrazole can be used in research related to malaria and leishmaniasis.

Galloylpaeoniflorin suppresses RANKL-induced activation of ERK, JNK, c-Fos, c-Jun, and NFATc1, and reduces osteoclast-specific gene expression. Galloylpaeoniflorin activates Nrf2 and PI3K/Akt pathways, inhibits NF-κB activation, and scavenges ROS to reduce oxidative DNA, lipid, and protein damage. Galloylpaeoniflorin attenuates neuroinflammation, inhibits apoptosis, reduces Helicobacter pylori-induced gastric mucosa injury and UVB-induced cell damage. Secutrelvir is an oral SARS-CoV-2 3C-like protease (3CLpro) inhibitor and antiviral agent, with IC₅₀ values of 0.655 nM and 0.697 nM against SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro, respectively. Secutrelvir forms a reversible covalent bond with the catalytic cysteine C145 of SARS-CoV-2 3CLpro, thereby inhibiting viral replication. Secutrelvir exhibits activity against multiple SARS-CoV-2 variants and can be used in research related to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

TC14012, a serum-stable derivative of T140, is a selective and peptidomimetic CXCR4 antagonist with an IC₅₀ of 19.3 nM. TC14012 is a potent CXCR7 agonist with an EC₅₀ of 350 nM for recruiting β-arrestin 2 to CXCR7. TC14012 has anti-HIV activity and anti-cancer activity.

Brassicasterol is a metabolite of Ergosterol and has cardiovascular protective effects. Brassicasterol exerts anticancer effects in prostate cancer through dual targeting of AKT and androgen receptor signaling pathways. Brassicasterol inhibits HSV-1 (IC₅₀=1.2 μM) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Brassicasterol also inhibits sterol δ 24-reductase, slowing the progression of atherosclerosis. Brassicasterol is also a cerebrospinal fluid biomarker for Alzheimer's disease.

Harpagide is a class of iridoid glycoside isolated from Scrophularia ningpoensis and has antiparasitic activity, which exhibits good in vitro trypanocidal activities against African trypanosomes (T.b. rhodesiense) with an IC₅₀ of 21 μg/mL. Harpagide exerts significant antileishmanial activity against L. donovani with an IC₅₀ value of 2.0 μg/mL. Harpagide also possess significant anti-inflammatory activities.
