Anpirtoline (D-16949) is a centrally acting 5-HT1B receptor agonist, with Kis of 28 nM (5-HT1B), 150 nM (5-HT1A) and 1.49 μM (5-HT2). Anpirtoline has serotonergic, antinociceptive, antidepressant-like effects.
