Bertilimumab (CAT 213) neutralizes the ability of eotaxin-1 to cause an increase in intracellular calcium signaling (with an IC50 value of 2.86 nM), migration of CCR3-expressing L1.2 cells (with an IC50 value of 0.48 nM), and inhibition of the eotaxin1-evoked shape change of human eosinophils in vitro (with an IC50 of 0.71 nM)[1].
